Jet2 has announced its intention to transfer its listing from AIM to the London Stock Exchange’s Main Market, while also increasing its planned London Gatwick operation for summer 2027.
The announcement was issued on 3 September 2026 ahead of the airline’s annual general meeting. Jet2 said its Gatwick operation is performing ahead of its initial expectations, with seven aircraft now on sale from the airport for summer 2027.
The airline’s winter 2026/27 programme is also set to grow, with seat capacity up 8% and much of that increase concentrated at Gatwick.
For passengers travelling to airports across Britain, DM Airport Transfers provides pre-booked airport transfers throughout the UK.
Jet2’s wider summer 2026 programme currently has 19.9 million seats, representing a 7.6% increase year on year. Booked summer passengers are up 8.8% year on year.
The Gatwick expansion gives the airport a larger role in Jet2’s forward capacity plans, with the seven-aircraft summer 2027 programme coming alongside the stronger-than-expected performance reported for the current operation.
The proposed listing change is separate from the airline’s capacity update. Jet2 is currently listed on AIM and has announced its intention to move to the London Stock Exchange Main Market.
