Veezu, one of the UK’s largest and fastest-growing private hire operators, has expanded its presence in Greater Manchester with the full rebrand of two major local firms—Club Cars and Passenger Cars.
The two companies, previously among the region’s biggest private hire names, were acquired by Veezu in November 2024 (Club Cars) and January 2025 (Passenger Cars). Together, they add nearly 500 vehicles to Veezu’s growing network and signal the brand’s serious commitment to the Manchester market.
Passengers across Greater Manchester will now see Veezu branding on vehicles and benefit from improved technology, including app-based bookings, real-time tracking, and contactless payment methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. The change also supports the region’s efforts to modernise its private hire fleet and improve passenger experience.

This rebrand is part of Veezu’s national strategy to unify local operators under one umbrella while supporting regional clean air goals. As Manchester targets carbon neutrality by 2038, Veezu has pledged to introduce more zero-emission capable vehicles into its fleet.
The move comes as Veezu continues its rapid expansion across the UK, now operating in over 50 towns and cities with a fleet of more than 16,000 self-employed driver-partners.
