Police in Huddersfield have released a CCTV image of two individuals they wish to identify following an incident involving a taxi in the early hours of Wednesday, 5 March.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:50am in Huddersfield (A town between Manchester and Leeds), when a male and female passenger reportedly became involved in a brief dispute with the taxi driver. The male is then said to have exited the vehicle and deliberately damaged the car door.
Detective Constable Christopher Eglen of the Kirklees District Crime Team commented on the case:
“The victim has been subject to an upsetting and concerning confrontation while going about his work. We would like to identify the two people pictured as part of our enquiries and I would urge anyone who knows who they are to please come forward.
“Similarly, these two individuals are urged to come forward themselves to assist us with our enquiries.”
