Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has started production of an updated Caddy at its Poznań plant in Poland, introducing revised front-end styling, new colours and changes to the vehicle’s cabin technology.
The manufacturer said the updated range receives redesigned front bumpers, available in either painted or textured finishes. Four new metallic colours are listed: Reed Green, Sunset Red, Grenadilla Black and Grey-Brown.
New wheel designs, ranging from 16 to 18 inches, are also part of the update.
Inside, Volkswagen said the Caddy gains a free-standing 12.9-inch central display with configurable touch shortcuts. Backlit sliders for temperature controls, Digital Cockpit Pro and a 25W inductive smartphone charging compartment are standard, according to the manufacturer.
The updated line-up includes passenger and Cargo versions, standard and Maxi wheelbases, and petrol, diesel and eHybrid powertrains. Volkswagen describes the wider Caddy family as including Cargo, passenger, Maxi, California, Flexible and special-conversion derivatives.
Volkswagen said a five-year manufacturer warranty is included as standard from the factory.

The Caddy has been built in Poland since 2003, when the third generation was introduced. Volkswagen said nearly 2.9 million Caddys have been built exclusively at Poznań since then.
The company said the fifth-generation Caddy has attracted more than 500,000 customers globally. It also reported more than 110,000 Caddy deliveries during the 2025 financial year.
The production announcement covers a vehicle family available in both passenger and commercial formats. That may make the model relevant to specialist conversion and accessible-transport markets, but Volkswagen has not announced a taxi-specific product as part of this update.
The announcement concerns continental European production. Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has not confirmed UK pricing, final UK specifications, ordering dates, availability or which derivatives will be offered in Britain.
Those omissions mean the equipment and powertrain details announced for the wider range should not be treated as confirmation of a UK launch line-up. The production start also does not by itself provide a UK delivery timetable.
