Veezu Expands Into Dudley and Sandwell With Triple 20 Taxi Cars Acquisition

Private-hire technology group Veezu has acquired Midlands operator Triple 20 Taxi Cars, expanding its West Midlands footprint into Dudley and Sandwell.

The completed deal brings the Triple 20 Taxis and Brookfleet Cars brands into Veezu’s regional network. The operation works with about 270 self-employed driver-partners, increasing the number of drivers connected to the group across the area.

Veezu already has a network covering Birmingham, Solihull, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury and Telford. The acquisition adds Dudley and Sandwell to that presence and gives the group a wider operating footprint across the West Midlands.

Veezu said passengers using the acquired services would continue to receive the local service associated with the two brands, supported by its booking technology.
