Škoda says its production Peaq seven-seat electric SUV has covered 936km without recharging in a run supervised by certification authority TÜV SÜD.
The journey began at Škoda’s headquarters in Mladá Boleslav and ended in Zandvoort in the Netherlands. The manufacturer said the drive took place from 25 August, with the result publicly announced on 2 September.
The tested vehicle used a 91kWh battery and averaged 9.2kWh/100km over the journey. Škoda describes the result as a range record for seven-seat electric SUVs.
The run was completed by a production Peaq rather than a specially built prototype, making the result a benchmark for the model as supplied for customers. However, the 936km journey figure is separate from the official range listed for the car in the UK.

Škoda UK lists the Peaq with up to 395 miles of WLTP range and pricing starting at £51,980. The UK figures provide the market specification and advertised range, while the TÜV SÜD-supervised journey records the distance achieved on the particular drive.
The result gives operators and passengers assessing large electric vehicles a newly announced real-world range reference, particularly for longer journeys where charging access is an important consideration. The Peaq’s seven-seat layout also places the result in the larger electric SUV segment rather than among smaller battery-electric cars.
Škoda’s announcement therefore adds a certification-supervised performance result to the UK-listed model’s published range and price information, without changing those advertised UK specifications.
