Jet2 Goes Big for 2027 With 17 Brand-New Summer Routes

There’s good news on the horizon for airport drivers as Jet2 ramps up its summer offering — the leisure carrier has unveiled 17 new routes for its Summer 2027 schedule, spread across eight UK airports.

The new services will fly from Birmingham, Manchester, London Stansted, London Gatwick, Edinburgh, Bristol, East Midlands and Bournemouth, taking holidaymakers to a mix of sun-and-city destinations across France, Spain, Greece, Croatia and the Channel Islands. The package is a blend of brand-new routes and the return of three previously suspended services.

Greece features heavily in the expansion, with the airline adding several new direct links there. New services include a Kavala route launching in May 2027, an Almeria connection from London Stansted, a Mytilene service to the island of Lesbos from London Gatwick, and a new Manchester to Paris Charles de Gaulle route. Manchester and Birmingham remain the airline’s key growth points for family package holidays.

To support the growth, Jet2 is bringing in state-of-the-art Airbus A321neo aircraft alongside its Boeing 737-800 workhorses — newer jets that carry more passengers per flight while being more fuel-efficient and quieter.

For drivers who rely on airport runs, more routes and more flights generally means more passengers heading to and from the terminals — particularly at the regional bases where Jet2 is concentrating its expansion. It’s a trend worth keeping an eye on as the booking season builds.
