Crystal Ski Holidays has announced two new weekly TUI Airways routes from Newcastle International Airport to Chambéry and Toulouse-Blagnac for the 2027/28 winter season.
The new services are being sold as Crystal Ski Holidays packages, including flights, accommodation, transfers and support. Bookings have opened for the routes, which will give travellers from the North East additional direct access to ski destinations in France, Andorra and the Spanish Pyrenees.
The Newcastle–Toulouse service will operate weekly from 19 December 2027 until 5 March 2028. The route is intended to provide access to Andorra and the Baqueira-Beret ski area in the Spanish Pyrenees.
The Newcastle–Chambéry service will operate weekly from 21 December 2027 until 1 April 2028. Chambéry provides access to French Alps resorts including Méribel, Courchevel, Val d’Isère, Tignes and Les Menuires.
For passengers travelling to airports across Britain, DM Airport Transfers provides pre-booked airport transfers throughout the UK.
The announcement expands Newcastle Airport’s direct winter connectivity for holidaymakers booking package ski trips. It also creates additional options for passengers travelling to resorts that would otherwise require onward surface transport from another airport.
Both routes will be operated by TUI Airways on behalf of Crystal Ski Holidays. The services form part of the holiday company’s winter 2027/28 programme from Newcastle.
