Rightcharge raises £500,000 to expand fleet EV charging platform across Europe

London-based EV charging specialist Rightcharge has secured £500,000 in growth funding to expand its fleet charging and reimbursement platform across Europe.

The round was led by Soulmates Ventures, with participation from BlackWood Ventures and Purple Ventures. Rightcharge said the funding will support customer acquisition, partnerships and further expansion into European markets.

Rightcharge’s platform combines payments for public EV charging with automated reimbursement for drivers charging fleet vehicles at home. The company says it now serves more than 200 direct fleet customers, while annual recurring revenue has increased more than twentyfold over the past year.

The company has begun deployments in France and Germany through a partnership with Octopus Electroverse. It also works with charging and fleet-service providers including Pod, The Right Fuel Card and Fuuse.

Rightcharge is targeting fleets that need to manage charging costs across both public networks and employees’ homes. Its payment and reimbursement tools are intended to bring those transactions into a single platform.

The latest funding gives the company additional capital to build its customer base and partnerships as it expands beyond the UK. The announcement adds to the growing number of fleet-focused businesses seeking to simplify the operational and payment challenges associated with electrification.
