Omoda has confirmed the UK price and specification for its new flagship Omoda 7 SHS-P Noble Tech, with the plug-in hybrid SUV set to land in showrooms from late June priced from £35,505 OTR.
According to Auto Express, the new top-spec Noble Tech variant adds just £500 to the existing Noble specification, but throws in two genuinely interesting headline features. The first is a 15.6-inch touchscreen that physically slides across the dashboard, allowing the front passenger to pull the display over to their side to handle navigation, music or other in-car functions. It’s a UK first at this price point.
The second new feature is Remote Parking Assistance (RPA), which lets the driver step out of the car and remotely park it into parallel, perpendicular or angled spaces using the key fob. Omoda UK confirmed to AM-Online that this is a first for both the Omoda and Jaecoo brands in the UK.

Under the bonnet, the Noble Tech uses the same SHS-P plug-in hybrid powertrain as the rest of the Omoda 7 range: a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a single electric motor and an 18.3kWh battery pack. Auto Express reports peak power of 200bhp, 365Nm of torque, and up to 56 miles of pure electric range before the petrol engine joins in. Performance is more modest, with 0-62mph quoted at 8.4 seconds — a reminder that all this technology comes with some kerbweight.
Standard kit on the Noble Tech includes electrically adjustable, heated and cooled front seats, a panoramic sunroof, LED lighting front and rear, and 20-inch alloy wheels. AM-Online confirms the wider Omoda 7 range now spans from £29,965 OTR for the entry-level petrol, £32,005 OTR for the SHS-P Knight, £35,005 OTR for the SHS-P Noble, and £35,505 OTR for the new Noble Tech.
Omoda UK managing director Victor Zhang said: “The introduction of the Omoda 7 SHS-P Noble Tech represents a considered step forward in how we bring advanced technology into everyday driving. By integrating intelligent systems such as RPA alongside a more flexible and immersive cabin experience, we are focused on making innovation intuitive, accessible and genuinely useful for our customers.”
For drivers in the trade looking at PHEV options, the Omoda 7 PHEV undercuts most of its mainstream rivals on price by a noticeable margin while offering a strong equipment list. The brand also includes a seven-year/100,000-mile warranty and an eight-year battery warranty on SHS variants as standard.
First UK deliveries of the Noble Tech are expected from the end of June through the brand’s 131-strong UK retail network.
