XPeng is establishing its own national sales company in the UK as it prepares to expand its British line-up with the L03 electric crossover and X9 electric MPV.
The Chinese vehicle manufacturer will take responsibility for XPeng’s strategic and commercial development in Britain under the new arrangement. International Motors, which has supported the brand’s UK distribution, will continue to provide operational services and local distribution support.
The change gives XPeng direct control of its UK sales operation while retaining support from its existing distributor. XPeng currently has 48 UK dealers, according to Autocar’s report.

XPeng has confirmed that the L03 will be sold in the UK, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2027. The model is described as a crossover and will form part of the company’s planned expansion in the British market.
The company has also announced plans to bring the X9 electric MPV to Britain. No further UK launch timing for the X9 is included in the confirmed information.
XPeng’s move comes as the manufacturer builds its presence in the UK through a combination of direct strategic control and continued operational support from International Motors. The planned arrival of the L03 and X9 will give the brand additional vehicles to offer through its UK dealer network.
