Rye Lane remains closed near 114-116 Rye Lane in Peckham as emergency work continues to stabilise an unsafe structure at the former cinema site.
Southwark Council said in its latest update, issued at 08:30 on Sunday 6 September, that the closure applies to vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.
An exclusion zone is in place while contractors carry out stabilisation work and install supporting scaffold. The council expects parts of the area to remain closed for around seven to 10 days, although this is subject to conditions on site and progress on safety work.

Rye Lane will reopen only once the work has been completed and safety checks and technical sign-off have been carried out, the council said.
Pedestrians are being directed around the closure via Blenheim Grove and Choumert Grove. TfL bus diversions remain in operation, with online journey information updated for affected services.
The council said it is assisting residents who cannot return home because of the exclusion zone. It is also working with businesses on deliveries, servicing and access arrangements.
Members of the public have been advised not to enter the exclusion zone or move any barriers or fencing, and to follow signed diversion routes.
