Li Auto says it plans to begin selling its battery-electric Li i6 in European markets in the fourth quarter of 2026, but it has not announced a UK launch.
Founder, chairman and chief executive Xiang Li set out the plan during the company’s second-quarter 2026 earnings conference call on 26 August. He said Li Auto would prioritise battery-electric vehicles in Europe and that the i6 would launch at the Paris Motor Show in October 2026.
The company also said it would roll out a right-hand-drive version of the i6 as part of a wider right-hand-drive-market model range. That makes a future UK entry plausible, but Li Auto did not name the UK as a launch country or provide UK pricing, retail, service or delivery information.
For drivers and operators watching potential new electric-vehicle choices, the company’s stated European sales timetable remains a forward plan rather than confirmation that sales have started. There is also no confirmation from Li Auto that right-hand-drive i6 vehicles will be supplied to the UK.

The five-seat i6 was officially launched in China on 26 September 2025. Li Auto said at the time that deliveries would begin the following day and priced the standard configuration at RMB249,800.
Li Auto’s international plans extend beyond Europe. The company said it intends to launch the Li MEGA in Hong Kong SAR and Singapore by the end of 2026. In the Middle East and Central Asia, its stated product focus is on L-series range-extended models.
The manufacturer said it launched the all-new Li L9 in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in July 2026 and was planning a Dubai launch in September.
Li Auto’s August financial-results release said it intended to expand its global footprint. The associated earnings call supplied the more specific Europe plan, including the Paris Motor Show appearance, proposed fourth-quarter European sales start and right-hand-drive i6 rollout.
Until the company confirms a UK market plan, the i6 should not be treated as a confirmed UK launch or a vehicle with announced British pricing or support arrangements.
