CrossCountry is running a reduced service across its network on Sunday 6 September because of constraints on train-crew availability.
National Rail said some trains would be cancelled, while others would operate for only part of their usual route. The disruption notice was issued in advance on 4 September.
The service changes apply across the CrossCountry network, affecting passengers travelling on routes serving locations including Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Plymouth and Reading.

The Birmingham New Street-Leicester-Stansted Airport route is not expected to be affected, according to National Rail.
AOL reported that more than 50 CrossCountry services had been cancelled. National Rail’s notice did not give a total number of cancellations, but confirmed that services could be cancelled or curtailed.
Passengers are being advised to check their journey before travelling, as planned services may not run as scheduled.
