NATS said it was investigating a technical issue that was disrupting some flight departures.
Engineers were on site working on the problem, according to a statement issued by NATS at 13:46 on 8 September 2026.

The statement did not identify the technical fault, name the airports affected or provide a time for normal operations to resume.
Passengers were advised to check the status of their journey with their airline.
