Jet2 adds summer 2027 flights and longer seasons at nine UK airports

Jet2 has announced additions to its existing summer 2027 programme at nine UK airports, with spring and autumn season extensions and extra peak-season flights to Palma from Leeds Bradford.

The expansion, reported on 4 September, covers Leeds Bradford, East Midlands, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool and London Stansted. The changes are future schedule additions for 2027, not services that have just begun operating.

The programme includes longer operating seasons for Mediterranean destinations. Among the confirmed details are April extensions from Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester, alongside additional summer capacity from Leeds Bradford.

Confirmed dates and destinations

  • Birmingham: April 2027 season extensions for Heraklion and Kalamata.
  • Bristol: an extension to the Chania season covering 1–29 April 2027.
  • Manchester: April season extensions for Heraklion, Menorca and Naples.
  • Leeds Bradford: additional Palma flights between 7 July and 24 September 2027.

East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool and London Stansted are also included in the wider expansion. The additions combine longer seasons with extra flights during the main summer holiday period, rather than representing a single launch date across all nine airports.

For passengers travelling to airports across Britain, DM Airport Transfers provides pre-booked airport transfers throughout the UK.

Planning for airport transfers

For taxi, private-hire and airport-transfer operators, the distinction between season extensions and extra peak-season flights is useful when reviewing next year’s work. The April changes belong in spring planning, while the additional Leeds Bradford–Palma services cover a July-to-September window.

Operators should use individual flight dates and timings when arranging cover rather than treating the announcement as an immediate increase in services. Passengers booking transfers for summer 2027 should likewise base collection arrangements on their confirmed flight itinerary.
