Cheshire Constabulary has appealed for witnesses after two HGV trailers carrying more than 800 barrels of Guinness were stolen from an industrial estate in Runcorn.
The thefts took place in two separate incidents on Monday 31 August. Police said the Guinness was worth about £115,000, while the total value of the stolen property was estimated at approximately £205,000.
The first lorry left the site at around 7.55pm, travelling towards the Mersey Gateway. A second lorry departed at about 9.30pm, heading towards Rainhill and Watkinson Way.
Both vehicles were driven by men, according to officers. Cheshire Constabulary is asking anyone who witnessed the incidents, saw the vehicles in the area or has dashcam or other video footage to come forward.

Police are also seeking information that could help identify the two HGVs and the drivers involved. The appeal comes after the Guinness stock and trailers were taken from the Runcorn location, with officers investigating the circumstances of both incidents.
