Four schools in the South Bank area of Middlesbrough will close early on Friday 4 September ahead of the funeral of A66 crash victim Jakub Matusiak.
South Bank Primary School is planned to close at midday, while Outwood Academy Normanby is also due to shut from midday. The closures follow discussions between local headteachers and Redcar and Cleveland Council.
