According to information and footage shared directly with DM News by multiple drivers, the incident involved a Hyundai Ioniq hybrid and a Tesla Model 3. The crash occurred within the airport’s controlled forecourt area, where vehicle speeds are typically low and movements tightly restricted.
Drivers familiar with the scene described the incident as unusual, with early indications suggesting the Hyundai appeared to lose control before striking the Tesla. At this stage, the exact cause of the collision is unknown, and no official statement has yet been issued by airport authorities or police.
Several drivers submitted dashcam footage from nearby vehicles, while the Tesla driver also shared onboard Sentry Mode footage, providing multiple angles of the same incident. These clips show differing perspectives of the moments leading up to the impact, though they do not clearly explain why control was lost.
Thankfully, drivers confirmed that no one was seriously injured in the collision. The Tesla Model 3 appeared to suffer minimal visible damage, while the Hyundai Ioniq sustained significantly more damage.
