Manchester Airport has announced that several major airlines will relocate to their new home in Terminal 2 throughout November 2025, as part of its ongoing £1.3 billion transformation project aimed at improving passenger experience and airport efficiency.
According to Manchester Airport’s official announcement, the following airlines are scheduled to move to Terminal 2 on the listed dates:
- Norse Atlantic Airways – 7 November
- Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) – 11 November
- Turkish Airlines – 11 November
- Etihad Airways – 12 November
- Emirates – 18 November
- easyJet – 19 November
The airport also confirmed that several carriers have already completed their move to Terminal 2 earlier this year, including Aer Lingus, Luxair, Finnair, British Airways, Loganair, Icelandair, Air Transat, and Gulf Air.

Manchester Airport said the expansion and relocation programme will help centralise operations, streamline passenger flow, and provide modernised facilities including new check-in halls, improved security lanes, and an upgraded departure lounge.
A spokesperson for the airport said the transformation would “futureproof the airport’s infrastructure and create a world-class experience for passengers flying from the North West.”
DM News Commentary
For taxi and private hire drivers operating airport transfers, these airline moves will be essential to keep track of during November. Drivers collecting or dropping off passengers should double-check flight information to ensure they head to the correct terminal, avoiding delays or confusion — especially with popular carriers like Emirates and easyJet now shifting to Terminal 2.
