Heathrow Drivers Must Pre-Register for New Taxi Feeder Management System (TFMS)

Heathrow Drivers Must Pre-Register for New Taxi Feeder Management System (TFMS)

Heathrow Airport is rolling out a brand-new Taxi Feeder Management System (TFMS), and all drivers must pre-register before it goes live. Without completing the onboarding process, drivers will lose access to the system and will not be able to work at the airport.

This marks a major shift in how drivers operate at Heathrow, with strict deadlines in place to ensure a smooth transition.

Key Dates for Drivers

  • Pre-registration opened: 11th August 2025
  • Onsite onboarding support: 18th August – 30th September 2025
  • System go-live date: 1st October 2025
  • Pre-registration closes: 11th February 2026

⚠️ Warning for late registrants: After 11th February 2026, any driver not registered will be placed on a waiting list, which already has over 1,475 drivers.

What Drivers Need to Do

1. Pre-Register Online

  • Scan the QR code on posters around Heathrow.
  • Create an account using your name, email, and password.
  • Activate your account via the confirmation email (check junk/spam folders if necessary).
  • Complete all required details — including the “State/Province” field (simply your home area such as London, Surrey, Kent, Berkshire).
  • If your surname includes an apostrophe or hyphen (e.g. O’Shaughnessy or Smith-Jones), enter it with a space instead.

2. Onboard at Heathrow

  • Visit the onboarding booth in the canteen between 18th August and 30th September (6am – 10pm).
  • Bring your Taxi Bill and Badge.
  • A photo will be taken during the process.

Drivers can continue onboarding at the cab-in until 11th February 2026 if they miss the initial window.

3. Download the App

  • Available from mid-September 2025, two weeks before launch.
  • Required for topping up, daily operations, and driver communications.
  • Minimum device requirements:
    • iOS 15 or newer (iPhone 6s / SE 1st Gen or later)
    • Android 12 or newer (Galaxy S20 or later)

4. Top Up Your Account

  • Heathrow will notify drivers when to top up accounts before the go-live date.

Important Reminders

  • Only active drivers can register.
  • Avoid overcrowding at onboarding booths – all drivers will be processed.
  • Heathrow will monitor activity: if you do not use the system for 3–6 months, you may be deactivated. Drivers will have two weeks to confirm future airport use or risk being moved to the waiting list.
  • Support will be provided via canteen screens, wall posters, in-app help, and onsite staff.

Bottom Line

Heathrow is making registration mandatory for every working taxi driver. Failure to pre-register by 11th February 2026 means joining the long waiting list — and losing the ability to operate at one of the UK’s busiest airports.

Make sure you complete all steps, download the Nymble app, and stay on top of Heathrow’s communications to protect your licence to operate.
