One of our readers has revealed the maximum amount of money you can earn and the maximum amount of hours you can work on Uber in Liverpool and the UK in one day.
The Liverpool Uber driver wanted to work until Uber stopped him from going online, now Uber has a policy in which a driver can work a maximum of 10 hours driving time, not online time, so when you have accepted a job the time driving on that job is recorded as driving time. The time waiting for a job or driving around looking for a job isn’t counted, that is why your online time is normally a lot longer than driving time.
We would say your work time is when you first get in your car and when you return home, you are out of the house and out working.
In this example, an Uber driver worked 14 hours (1 hour in the gym) so 13 online hours, and earned £205.54 yet he still had nearly 2 hours left of driving time and the driver predicted that it would have taken him 16 to 17 hours of online time to complete it due to being so quiet.
The Uber driver revealed that his expenses before tax were around 40% so on this day he earned £123.32 which resulted in £9.50 per hour.
The driver revealed he left the house at 7.30 am and got home at 10 pm with an hour in the gym, he stated that he was too physically tired to work any longer.
So to answer the question “What’s the Maximum you can work/earn on Uber?” purely depends on how busy it is, you can use up your maximum driving hours of 10 hours in 11 to 13 hours if it is busy, but if it’s quiet you can work until you physically can’t anymore.
