Ubers latest update to their driver app may cause safety concerns reported by multiple Uber drivers, when Uber offers their driver a job it shows the full address, instead of a simpler version. Below you will see the before and after, now we have mixed reports from drivers in which some believe it’s a positive change whereas others think it’s a safety concern due to having to read too much information in the limited time frame you get to accept the job while driving.
As you can see above, the left-hand image is simpler and straight to the point with the postcode and city, whereas the latest update on the right-hand side has the full number, address, city, and postcode. Many Uber drivers complain that there is too much information to read while driving, which can be quite dangerous, whereas other drivers like the update because they can see exactly where the job is going.
