Taxi Stolen in Farnborough Robbery – Police Appeal for Information

Police are appealing for witnesses after a taxi was stolen during a violent robbery in Farnborough last week.

The incident happened at the taxi rank on Union Road, near Farnborough Main railway station, at around 9.55pm on Thursday, 28 August.

According to reports, a man approached a taxi before assaulting the driver and dragging him out of the vehicle. The suspect then made off in the car, driving it towards Farnborough Road.

The stolen vehicle is described as a white Peugeot E7, with a registration number beginning SF15.

Witness Appeal

Officers are urging anyone who may have been in the area at the time to come forward, particularly if they have dashcam footage that could help the investigation.

Residents are also asked to remain alert for sightings of the vehicle. Police stress that anyone who spots the taxi should report it immediately rather than approach it.
