British actor Stephen Graham has revealed that his Golden Globe award was accidentally left behind at an airport shortly after his win, following a tight travel schedule after the ceremony.
Graham won Best Actor in a TV Mini-Series for his role in Adolescence, but was forced to leave Los Angeles almost immediately after the event due to filming commitments in Madrid. He reportedly had just 35 minutes to catch a connecting flight, leaving little margin for error.
Despite being reassured that his luggage would make it onto the plane, Graham later discovered that his suitcase — containing the prestigious Golden Globe Awards trophy — had been left behind in Atlanta.
Speaking humorously about the situation, Graham explained that the missing suitcase held not only personal belongings, but also the heavy Golden Globe award itself, adding an extra layer of stress to the travel mishap.
Thankfully, the lost luggage — and the award — were safely reunited with Graham two days later, bringing an unusual end to what should have been a straightforward post-awards journey

DM Commentary
It’s not every day you hear about a Golden Globe going missing in transit — especially one that’s barely had time to cool down after the ceremony.
The story is a reminder of how relentless filming schedules can be, even straight after major career moments. Winning one of the biggest awards in television doesn’t stop the clock, and sometimes it doesn’t even stop you sprinting through an airport.
Thankfully, this one had a happy ending — and Stephen Graham got his trophy back where it belongs.
