The infamous Liverpool barrier at the top of Wood Street takes another poor car off the road but this time it’s a 2024 Audi. This picture has been circulating across the taxi WhatsApp groups and social media.
This is quite a common thing happening now on the streets of Liverpool. At the top of Wood Street, there is an automatic barrier stopping cars and vans from driving down at certain times, sometimes the barrier might open up for an accepted vehicle but as soon as that vehicle has passed the barrier will automatically raise behind it even if there is a car following behind.
Hopefully, this article will make people aware not to follow any vehicles heading down Wood Street just in case the barrier rises behind them.
