Bristol, UK – Bristol Airport has announced an increase in its drop-off and pick-up charges, set to take effect from March 3, 2025. The ‘Drop & Go’ car park fee for up to 10 minutes will rise from £6 to £7, while the ‘Short Stay and Pick-Up’ car park will also see its 30-minute rate increase from £6 to £7.

The airport has stated that these adjustments are necessary to manage congestion and support ongoing infrastructure investments. A spokesperson for Bristol Airport commented, “These changes are designed to improve traffic flow around the terminal and support investment in airport infrastructure.”
In response to concerns, the airport has highlighted that free parking for up to 60 minutes remains available in the ‘Waiting Zone’ car park, with a shuttle bus service to the terminal.
The announcement has elicited mixed reactions from passengers and local residents. Some frequent travellers have expressed frustration over the increased costs, while others acknowledge the necessity of infrastructure improvements.
As the implementation date approaches, Bristol Airport advises passengers to plan their journeys accordingly and consider alternative transport options where feasible.
