As we all know, Terminal 1 at Manchester Airport is closing, and Terminal 2 is expanding into a larger terminal. Plenty of Terminal 1 airlines are moving over to Terminal 2, which is disrupting Terminal 2 arrivals. New changes have been made to the pick-up locations at Terminal 2. The price has stayed the same, but the pick-up time has been reduced drastically. You now only have 15 minutes to collect your passenger before getting charged more.

The new pick-up times are much shorter and there is also a new layout at the T2 West pick-up point. Four lanes are entering the T2 West car park, two blue and two green, the green will lead you to the ground floor which is express pick up on level 0. If you are not expressly picking up and you need to leave your car to enter the terminal to meet someone you need to follow the blue lanes, the blue lanes will take you to level 1 and above. Once you enter via the colored lane you cannot change once inside, so choose wisely.
These changes will hopefully increase the speed of people picking up at the Airport which will reduce the current chaos and traffic at the moment. The changes are coming into effect 17th of December 2024.
