A message sent through the Delta driver app, seen by DM News, confirmed that all fares will rise by 20p per booking. In addition, operator fees (settle) will also increase by £5 for the week starting Thursday 6 November.

“From Thursday 30th October at 9am all fares will increase by 20p per booking. Operator Fees (Settle) will increase by £5 for the week starting on Thursday 6th November.”
The change comes amid rising operational costs faced by private hire drivers across Merseyside, including fuel, insurance, and vehicle maintenance expenses. While the increase may help offset growing driver costs, passengers are likely to notice slightly higher prices on future bookings.
