LEVC Extends Partnership with TVS Supply Chain Solutions to Support UK Taxi Drivers

Ansty, Coventry – 17 September 2025: London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) has renewed and expanded its partnership with TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS), a global logistics provider, to further strengthen support for the UK’s iconic black cab fleet.

The partnership aims to enhance LEVC’s parts supply chain and online ordering systems, ensuring faster, more reliable delivery of spare parts to taxi operators and retail partners across the UK. With downtime being a critical issue for taxi drivers, the initiative is designed to minimise disruption and improve long-term fleet reliability.

Strengthening Support for the Taxi Trade

Under the agreement, TVS SCS will continue to manage global inbound logistics of spare parts, outbound deliveries to official LEVC retailers, and the implementation of online ordering platforms. This means taxi drivers operating LEVC’s TX zero-emission capable cabs can benefit from improved efficiency, reduced waiting times, and streamlined stock management.

Chris Allen, Managing Director of LEVC UK, said:

“We’re proud to extend our partnership with TVS Supply Chain Solutions, a key partner in ensuring LEVC and our retail network is equipped to support taxi drivers across the UK. With the majority of London’s fleet now made up of TX, and a growing number in major cities nationwide, this partnership underlines LEVC’s long-term commitment to our customers and to securing a successful future for the taxi trade.”

Driving Sustainability and Innovation

LEVC’s TX taxi, produced at its state-of-the-art Ansty facility in Coventry—the UK’s first dedicated electric vehicle factory—has already prevented more than 300,000 tonnes of CO₂ from entering the atmosphere. Since launch, over 11,000 units have been sold worldwide.

The business transformation has been backed by over £1 billion of investment from parent company Geely Holding Group, which has supported LEVC’s move from a heritage taxi manufacturer to a global leader in zero-carbon mobility solutions.

Grant Jones, Managing Director of TVS Supply Chain Solutions, added:

“I’m proud to renew our valued partnership with LEVC. At TVS, we remain committed to delivering seamless supply chain solutions that support the reliability, sustainability, and ongoing innovation of the iconic black cab fleet. It’s a privilege to play a part in LEVC’s continued success.”

Looking Ahead

Both companies confirmed they are exploring new initiatives to roll out in 2026, aimed at bringing even greater convenience and efficiency for taxi drivers and retail partners.

With over a century of history, LEVC’s black cab remains one of the world’s most recognisable vehicles, continuing to adapt to the evolving needs of operators, passengers, and the growing demand for sustainable transport.
